Professor Middaugh supervises post-doctoral researchers and research associates as Co-Director of the Macromolecular and Vaccine Stabilization Center (MVSC) at KU. For their contact information, see http://web.ku.edu/mvslab.
Our research interests focus on several inter-related areas. These include protein folding and dynamics, the formulation and delivery of peptides, proteins, nucleic acids, viruses and bacteria as pharmaceutical agents and the type III secretion system of gram negative bacteria. In recent years we have also had a general emphasis on vaccines from a wide range of perspectives.
